Haiti Mission: day 5

Day5- Saturday march20th
The clinic is closed on Saturday and Sunday so this is our day off. We head down to the Wahoo beach, a private beach. We took time to relax, swim and bargain for souvenirs with the local people. The Caribbean ocean displays a gorgeous blue and green shade.
Our translators started doing a sculpture in the sand and then it changed into a pregnant woman! They decided to do a caesarean section on her and had visible fun. After the “baby” was born, they even sewed-up their patient.
I am a little sad because after learning all the team members’ names and making friends, they are leaving tomorrow. The next team will be smaller but we will still do clinic five days this week.
