Haiti Mission: day 4

Day 4-Friday march 19th

This turned out to be a slow days at the clinic and after waiting one hour to make sure there we not more patients, I finished at 1:00 p.m. This gave me a chance to hand wash my laundry. It should dry very fast because it is 30 degrees Celsius and very windy.
As I talked with one of the translators, he was telling me that he was heading for the university building when the earthquake happened. Most of his friends died during the quake. This fact made us realize that Haiti on top of all its losses also lost an entire generation of well educated people. This will create a huge gap in their future development.
